Greetings short-wave fans.

Another fun evening, we heard E06's regular transmission this evening and also got trolled by a pirate.

If you listen through that you will hear a short piece of music at the end, from the Police Academy movies.

The pirate had already transmitted this just after an E06 test count at 19:45 which a couple of our members were listening out for.

Their was a very brief piece of the music followed a moment later by the full part heard at the end of the message linked above. A third transmission occured at the end of the E06 message at its normal schedule.

We really don't think this came from E06 or its operators and are assuming its a pirate, but the transmission was heard all over europe at more or less the same strength as the E06 transmission. So who knows?

Still it makes tracking the stations even more interesting.
