The language is Russian. S06s follows the same format as S06 and other SVR
stations. However, it has very specific behavior.
Null format: (note that null messages on regular schedules are
only transmitted on fifth week of the month, rarely at other times,
in case of which they are repeated every 10 minutes five
times, rather than usual two)
Note that the zeroes at the end are always spaced.
Messages never contain less than five groups, and don't usually
exceed nine. If the Transmission ID, the 3-figure group and the
amount of 5-figure groups were put together in a string, not a
single repeated digit would have been seen. Messages are believed
not to contain encrypted text, but codes from a codebook instead.
Groups from other messages are often recycled, and often even
entire strings are the same as in messages sent months and even
years ago. That's also the case with its English counterpart E17z.
Examples of the message-repeating behavior:
S06s operates a large amount of schedules. Messages are repeated
ten minutes after the first sending, on either higher or lower
frequency, though generally higher. Transmissions are always
automated, and frequently overmodulated.
S06s transmissions began in May 2004, and started using the
current voice in mid-2005. However, it went without specific ENIGMA
designation until 14 January 2010. Up until then, its transmissions
were logged as "S06 ending slow".
