An active evening
Wednesday, March 9, 2011
The priyom.org team and those from the irc rather dominated a few radio's on global tuners this evening. Several catchs's s06, e07 and m14 already. Wednesday nights seem to be very popular for number stations. We were also please to see the new Enigma 2000 control list and March news letter were put live this morning. Thanks E2k! Both messages from s06 (18:00 UTC 5735Khz) and e07 (18:20 UTC 9068Khz) were null messages, so nothing interesting to report. We did however catch a message from m14 (19:20 UTC 5464Khz). Danix111 did a fantastic job of decoding it, so the full message is posted on our m14 page. We also have had the german document on Simon Masons site translated by Horrorcat. This is from an unknown source and its original date cannot be confirmed, however the German speakers of our group belive the language style is late 1940's to 50's and was probably authored in the early 1960's.
The site seems to be getting noticed already, which we had not expected. Apart from our little community, we have not really gone public yet, but good SEO means pages are already ranking for number station searchs and people seem to be joining the wiki and contributing content. Thanks everyone out there we really appreciate the time and effort you have put in. Things are begining to come together now, the conet project information and samples have been uploaded and grouped under the relevant stations, (all 179 tracks) however, we still have a lot of work to do on the number station pages but we are expanding them daily with both old and brand new content. We feel the historical data of number stations and their evoloution is important so we intend to find and include as much historical as we can.
Laid the owner of the UVB-76 stream got in contact with us the other day to let us know he had dug the antenna for the stream out of the snow and ice, reception has become much better as a result, with voice messages fantastically clear and coverage of almost 24 hours showing in the archive. Thanks Laid!
Thanks for dropping by!
