The Israeli Air Force utilize 2G ALE to establish plain voice links (in Hebrew) and send encrypted data using the Automatic Message Display (AMD) feature.
Not all stations and frequencies may be active on a given day. Each active ground station emits an 8-second ALE sounding every 1, 2, or 3 hours.
