Operation
E05 operated on a very dynamic schedule, always starting on the hour and transmitting on two frequencies in parallel. The same message could be sent for weeks in a row. The 3-digit ID was associated with a particular message, not a schedule.
E05 used multiple transmitter sites in various parts of the world. The two confirmed locations were Warrenton, VA, USA and Frankfurt, Germany.
