V06 is the Spanish language mode of the Russian 6 operator. It was retired as a regular operation in 2000.

Despite not being in regular operation since 2000, the V06 voice appears to be still available to use. On September 8, 2012, a test transmission was made using it.[1] On February 6, 2014, a full V06 transmission was made.[2] In May 2016, the V06 voice was used during training sessions along with another otherwise inactive mode, V23. Another V06 transmission took place on January 29, 2020, using the known drill ID 975. A null message was transmitted on March 24, 2020. In March and April, 2023, several more V06 test transmissions took place.
