Hi folks on Priyom
Here is the JochenKopf, also known as "Kopf" of the German
numbers hobbyist branche. For a few days I am at last on Priyom.
Yesterday I tried successfully to connect on freenode - and all
Priyomers said "Hello", as Webweasel told me.
Unfortunately I have a limitted access to Priyom, because I am
blind, so I can't write blog posts because of the graphical based
website CMS. But hopefully the system will be changed, so that I
can write blog posts myself to you in nearest f...

Once again, I should be writing lots of small blog posts instead
of big ones but oh well.
Three big things have happened for us recently, the long awaited
article about UVB-76 has
been released in this months Wired Magazine, Laid has created a
radio stream that follows our station schedule and we have finally
got our database up and running!
So first the UVB-76
article in October 2011's issue of Wired Magazine. Around late
September 2010 before priyom.org was founded our community was

Well once again the shortwave bands spring these little suprises
on us.
X06 seems to be
sending its test signal x06c and the odditiy x06b with catches almost every day since last
thursday. That morning was particulary odd when we heard a sequence
of x06 over 23 frequencies lasting no more than 30 seconds at a
time over ten minutes. Quite an odd occurance indeed.
We also have new callsigns from UVB-76/The buzzer:
C38M/Ц38M and CLIM/ЦЛИМ
There have been a series of early morning mess...

Always fun when we have a buzzer oddity. Last night the buzzer
went quiet about 2am, but a quiet buzzer could be heard. It faded
over the next hour and a series of clicks were heard for about 40
minutes. At roughly 03:10 am the buzzer returned, but sounded like
it was being tuned down from a higher frequency. Listening to the
following sample while viewing this spectrogram shows what I
mean.

Hi, First blog post from me.
Through out the Libyan conflict we have been hearing Psyops
broadcasts by NATO "Command Solo" Lockheed EC-130 aircraft . It
seems that even now, after the fall of Tripoli NATO are still
broadcasting their Psyops Messages to the Libyan population.
A good catch by Danix111 on the IRC today was of one of these
Psyops broadcast on 10404khz. again like previous Libyan Psyops
messages it is broadcast in English and Arabic. The broadcast
consisted of two repeated mess...

Hey Shortwave fans
In the UK radio 4 produce a series of yearly lectures know as
the Reith lectures. Presented by leaders of their field, each year
chooses a certain relevant topic for debate.
This years set is called "Securing Freedom 2011" and is a series
of lectures presented by the Burmese pro-democracy leader Aung San
Suu and former Director-General of MI5 Baroness
Manningham-Buller.
I have just listened to the third of the five lectures and had
to share them with you, as they are ra...

Hello guys, this is my first blog post!
August 23, 2011 is the 1st anniversary of NAIMINA message and
the day when UVB-76 gained a "fanclub".
So we decided the UVB-76 and number
stations podcast episode 9 will be double episode. First part
will be anniversary episode, second one will be normal - talking
about our logs etc. Tonight we'll go live at 18:30 and start
recording the podcast at 19:00 UTC. It will be streamed over Webweasel's SDR
feed.
A lot has changed during this year! UVB...

Hello SW fans!
Now we have photos from Neelovo (Pskovskaya oblast'), which
CAN'T be the transmitter site of UZB-76. Why? Read
at the bottom of the blog post. Many thanks for photos to
Andrey.
And remember, you didn't see it ;)
UPD. Well. Neelovo isn't Buzzy's house judging by antenna, it
was confirmed by three men already. Antenna doesn't suit for such
frequency. We're on wrong way, gentlemen! :)
