F07 is a digital mode of the Russian 7 operator. It features a custom waveform based around main data sections using 5 parallel channels of 16-tone MFSK, and incorporating other FSK synchronization and PSK header and framing elements. F07 is believed to be one waveform of a custom proprietary digital system, also supporting its P07 OFDM-based counterpart, and several other experimental modes.
F07 schedules are twice weekly and consist of 6 identical transmissions 10 minutes apart. Transmission frequencies are typically changed on a monthly basis.
F07 has been heard on the air as far back as 2013, as part of occasional on-air tests. Its first regular schedule appeared in December 2022.
